As a bespoke traditional and contemporary carpentry and joinery company we have invested in a state-of-the-art paint spray facility to provide a fully finished decoration service. Paint can be applied in a controlled way to ensure a more consistent, superior long-lasting finish than if applied by hand. It also means that all the furniture and joinery we make at Acorn can be supplied ready painted or lacquered with the highest quality finish.

Whatever you choose… a solid opaque colour in high gloss, satin or matt, or the translucent finish of a stain allowing the grain of the timber to come through… we can achieve it for you.

Spray lacquers
This is the preferred option for veneered boards and solid woods.

Spray stains
We can tint any type of wood to match a particular finish or colour.

Spray paint
For our interior products, such as fitted furniture, we offer a colour matching service for any paint range.

Exterior paint
We spray our bespoke doors and windows with a protective, durable and decorative finish. The special microporous paint is available in any of the 1,625 RAL colours.
