This bespoke built-in wall to wall media unit was created by Acorn Bespoke Carpentry and Joinery for a private client in Cobham, Surrey. The impressive, bold design, spanning six metres, has given the large living room considerable structure and style, and made the space feel more inviting and attractive.

Uniquely designed for the space

Every bespoke commission like this begins with exploring and developing ideas together with our client. We produced detailed CAD visuals to ensure the project would be just as they envisaged. For this media wall unit, our clients wanted to incorporate display areas for artworks with easy to use closed storage cabinets below, which we crafted with push to open doors.

High end, grey wood grain finish

The impact of the piece comes from its sheer scale, so it was decided to keep the look modern and minimal look with a material palette that complemented their newly fitted kitchen. The grey wood grain finish adds an interesting visual texture. We used luxurious XyloCleaf boards throughout with colour matched Blum hardware. Our fully concealed LED lighting adds dimension and atmosphere.

The resulting bespoke media wall unit has transformed what felt like an oversized and uninviting space, into a cosy family lounge with deep rich tones and warm lighting.
