We had the pleasure of creating this bespoke contemporary home office for our clients’ home in Weybridge, Surrey. They decided it was time to invest in a dedicated space where they could be more professional and productive.

A comfortable and attractive workspace

The made to measure office furniture maximises the space in the room and is customised to fit our clients’ needs perfectly. We designed the bespoke furniture to fit the layout of the room, while integrating a long desk for spacious side by working and customised storage. The right storage was vital and building a desk with a cupboard or drawers puts work essentials right at your fingertips. Every drawer and door have been beautifully crafted to function effortlessly with the best quality Hafele ironmongery and soft close mechanisms.

Fresh, bright welcoming office

The custom cabinetry and display shelving have been meticulously spray painted in a flawless white finish, which contrasts beautifully with the natural wood desktop. The cabinet interiors are finished in an EGGER Cashmere Grey U702 ST9 which has a timeless neutral matt texture and feel and pairs very well with woodgrains and whites. The desk features a hardwearing natural oak worktop, which links with the wooden flooring.

Bespoke open display shelving

In this home office design, we incorporated a mix of open shelving for books, filing drawers for paperwork, and low-level cupboards to stow away equipment at the end of the day. “The tailored storage maximises the space and will make our clients’ working lives more enjoyable and easier,” says Thomas Streeter, Manager Director, Acorn Bespoke Carpentry and Joinery.
