This bespoke fitted dressing room was created for a private residence in Reigate, Surrey. Our clients, Mr and Mrs Martinez, wanted to convert a storage cubicle adjoining their bedroom into a dedicated ‘his and hers’ dressing room.

Mr and Mrs Martinez discussed their ideas with us and we set about exploring storage layouts and features with them. Our CAD technology meant we could draw, modify and optimise the design with pinpoint accuracy and ensure every aspect of the fitted dressing room was tailored to their exact needs.

A mix of closed and open storage

A mix of closed and open storage was chosen to combine ease of access and tidiness. The dressing room features four floor to ceiling wardrobes, two low level cupboards, three external drawers with a concealed jewellery drawer and open hardwood shelves with integrated lighting to showcase accessories.

Classic shaker style

The shaker style cabinetry and paneling has a classic elegance that won’t date. The exterior is painted in a light traditional grey from Farrow and Ball called Hardwick White. Slim, high quality handles elevate the look further.

The interior was finished in a Smoothtouch Matt texture EGGER Cashmere Grey. Inside the wardrobes we crafted a mix of internal drawers, hanging rails and compartments, with every element customised to organise our clients' clothing, shoes and accessories. As with all Acorn fitted dressing rooms, each door and drawer was fitted with the best ironmongery for strong, silent, and soft-close operation. The result is a stylish, organised, made to measure dressing room that fits our clients’ needs perfectly.
