Acorn Bespoke Carpentry and Joinery designed and built this outstanding bespoke fitted media unit for the living room in our clients’ private residence in the village of Oxshott, Surrey.

The owners wanted a minimalist, high end statement piece that would bring a touch of drama to the room. With a bespoke furniture design by Acorn, they knew they would be ablet to enjoy their home entertainment technology, without compromising on their interior design style.

Wall-to wall, floor to ceiling unit

This bespoke media unit runs across the entire wall, from floor to ceiling, with made to measure display shelving and sleek lower cupboards with handleless, push to open doors. This symmetrical grid layout achieves a pleasing sense of balance and harmony, with attractive items on display and other less appealing items discreetly hidden away. Everything, including cables, controls and even existing pipe work, is all neatly and elegantly concealed yet easy to access. The result is a feeling of relaxation and calm.
