This bespoke tall corner wardrobe was custom-made for our client’s unusually high-ceilinged home in Haywards Heath, West Sussex. Over three metres in height, with dramatic dark blue shaker style doors, this handmade corner wardrobe is a stunning piece of furniture which elevates the room and complements the beautiful décor.

Collaboration from concept to construction

We worked with our client to design and plan the bespoke wardrobe so that every detail would be just as they wanted. After exploring styles and configurations together, we produced full in-depth CAD (computer aided design) visuals for the final design. CAD visuals enable you to clearly envision your completed project.

Extra tall shaker style wardrobe

This shaker style corner wardrobe is just over three metres in height, which is considerably taller than most wardrobes. The standard ceiling height of an average home is 2.4 metres. With a tall wardrobe like this the design and proportion of doors and drawer fronts needs particular consideration

Traditionally constructed, the classic shaker style panelled doors feature strong, simple lines with a focus on the quality of craftsmanship. It’s an authentic style that adds character and will never go out of fashion. The elegant solid brass handles are from the Foundryman.

Customised painted finish

The finish is a high quality, water-based paint; Farrow and Ball Stiffkey Blue, which is a dark rich inky blue and an exciting colour choice for this double corner wardrobe. This extra tall wardrobe provides tailored ‘his and hers’ cupboard storage and roomy drawers, with shelves, pull-out features and drop-down hanging rails. The wardrobe interior is a warm grey Egger U702 ST9 finish. This has a smooth natural matte look and feel that is neutral and hardwearing.
