We had the pleasure of creating this luxury bespoke dressing room for our clients Mr and Mrs Duncan Crocker. They commissioned us to completely redesign their master bedroom and create a separate walk-through wardrobe space and dressing area for their home in Balcombe, West Sussex.

Our clients had a spare bedroom that was hardly ever used. So, they decided to repurpose it and put it to stunning use as a dressing room and walk-in wardrobe. This separate dressing room with bespoke built-in wardrobes would also free up valuable space in their bedroom. To access the dressing room, we created an opening in the wall between their bedroom and the spare room. Instead of a clutter of different fitted wardrobes, everything now is streamlined and ordered.

A bespoke fashionable finish in pale grey

The colour scheme chosen was a soft light grey evoking tranquility and modernity. Grey is a wonderfully adaptable neutral shade with its ability to set the scene and provide a backdrop for clothing and other contents. Here the units are finished in an EGGER Light Grey U708 ST27 which has a grained wood effect. The custom-made luxurious dressing table is designed with a solid natural oak top, which is both hardwearing and beautiful for everyday use. The muted pale grey display storage and dressing table is reminiscent of a high-end Mayfair boutique, with mirrors and lighting adding extra sparkle and elegance.

Bespoke open display storage

Most of the units are open in this dressing room and feature made to measure sized storage for all the various outfits, footwear and accessories – a fashion-lover’s dream! The bespoke doors are in an ultramodern, streamlined style with inset handles. These blend unobtrusively into the door without causing any obstructions. The inset handle detail is carried across the wardrobe and dressing table drawers creating a seamless look which won’t detract from the clothing collection.
